We invited to experience, first hand, the mysteries and enchantments that Peru has to offer. From Cuzco to Machu Picchu and Lima, you will sojourn through colonial cities, ruins, markets and regions that attest to the legacy of these ancient cultures. This program was designed to introduce you to Peru, home to some of the most amazing and diverse scenery in the Americas. You will wander colonial cities, a testament to the legacy of the Spanish conquistadors; visit the ancient Inca capital of Cuzco and its indigenous population maintaining traditions of old; explore the lost city of Machu Picchu; visit fascinating villages with stepped terraces dating from pre-Inca times.


DAY 01: Lima - Arrival


Arrival in Lima, the "City of Kings" famous for its Spanish Colonial architecture, extraordinary museums and cuisine. Lima is internationally recognized as the "Gastronomic Capital of the Americas", and its cuisine is considered among the most diverse and exquisite in the world on par with French cuisine. Upon arrival a host will meet and assist you in transferring to the hotel and in registering.


DAY 02: Lima – City Tour (B)


Breakfast. Morning leisure. Afternoon tour of Modern and Colonial Lima - This half-day tour visits both the colonial and modern sections of Lima. Colonial sites include the lovely Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, San Francisco Church and the exquisite Torre Tagle Palace modern day seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In modern Lima, drive along the exclusive residential areas of Miraflores and San Isidro.


DAY 03: Lima – Cusco (B)


Early morning transfer from the hotel to the airport for a short but spectacular flight over the snowcapped Andes to the oldest inhabited city in the hemisphere, Cusco, at an elevation of 11,440 feet. 

Upon arrival a host will meet and assist you in transferring to the hotel and in registering. The rest of the day is at leisure, we suggest you to rest and let your body to adjust to the altitude and minimize the chances of getting altitude sickness.

Overnight in Cusco.


DAY 04: Machu Picchu with overnight stay (B,L)


Breakfast. Morning train ride through the sacred valley of Urubamba to the "Lost City of the Incas," Machu Picchu. Perched 8,200 feet above the valley, it was hidden by mountains and semi-tropical jungles for 400 years until discovered by Hiram Bingham of Yale University in 1911. Archaeologists believe that the Inca "Virgins of the Sun" took refuge from the Spanish Conquistadors here. Guided tour of the ruins upon arrival. Lunch box, enjoy the most incredible sights on earth, the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Take as much time as you need to study these magnificent ruins. you have time at leisure before to return to your hotel in Aguas Calientes .


DAY 05: Day 5 Machu Picchu Free Day. Return train ride (B)


Breakfast, morning at leisure. Afternoon return train ride back to Cusco.


DAY 06: Cusco -Sacred Valley-Cusco


Breakfast. Today you will embark on full day tour to The Indian Market of Pisac & The Fortress of Ollantaytambo. Pisac is located at the beginning of the Sacred Valley of the Incas it is 31 km from the City of Cusco The town of Pisac is famous for its Sunday market fairs, where the tourists can mix with the people dressed in their colorful traditional cloths, each being unique to the remote village from where they come to sell their goods, and exchange local gossip. Soon it becomes a natural folkloric. Here, people quite often still use the barter system, trading oranges for apples, potatoes for cucumbers. It is also a well-known archaeological spot known as "the Old Village" and is located on the sides of a hill dominates the river Vilcanota where you can marvel at the splendid old forts, esplanades and temples, alongside the modern village. The town of Ollantaytambo is located 97 km from the City of Cusco. It has preserved the Inca style in the layout of its streets, squares, walls and the construction of houses. The town is flanked by an impressive fortress that was an integral part defense system of the Sacred Valley. At the entrance to the Fortress there is a steep stairway of sheer stone, and once you reach the summit two esplanades can be seen. One where was a temple with 10 niches and other where the Temple of the Sun was formed by 6 rectangular monoliths, and the Baths of the Ñusta or the Baths of the Princess, the Mañaracay or Royal Living room, or the Incahuatana


DAY 07: Cusco – Lima – Home (B)


 Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your departure to Lima and your connecting international flight.
